The Tuneables is an innovative video and audio series that teaches the "ABCs" of music learning to             preschool children in a fun and engaging way. This foundation focuses on four elements:

Tonal & Rhythm Patterns in Music The Singing Voice
A Basic Repertoire of Music Listening Skills

With The Tuneables, musical development and overall intellectual growth are supported through the child's active involvement in music learning. Experiences emerge from a carefully sequenced program of aural perception, kinesthetic response, and verbal association-or, as The Tuneables say-"hear it, do it, name it." This innovative approach builds on the research linking music learning in early childhood to overall intelligence.

The Music Intelligence Project sponsors the development of The Tuneables. MIP is
designed to promote the best approaches to music education for children. Curriculum
guidelines are based on research and proven practical experience.
